Simple Semi-Handmade Necklace

I found these ready-to-go beads for creating jewelry at a local craft store, and they make it so easy to piece together a necklace in a snap!

These ready-to-go beads (I say "ready-to-go" because they already have the wire in them to create a chain) come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and color schemes.

See how on each side of the beads, they have wire loops to use to connect them together?

All you have to do is open each end of the wire using pliers, hook one bead to another, and close the wire.  It's that simple.

Repeat the process until you have the necklace (or even bracelet) designed the way you want it.

I added a separate charm to the necklace to give it interest.

The nice thing about using these beads is that it doesn't necessarily need to be a permanent piece of jewelry.  It's kind of like playing with Lego's - you can redesign the layout, add/remove beads, and create several different looks to suit your every mood.
