Well, I know you've been waiting in anticipation to see when and what I'd post today...or maybe not. Either way, it's all good because it's Christmas (and the fifth night of Hanukkah)! I know now it's technically Sunday, but oh well (been busy, busy, busy).

I'm switching it up a bit and instead of posting another craft-type DIY, I'm opting for a recipe-type DIY: Holiday Sugar Cookies. This past weekend, the hubby and I visited his sister's family, and being the "Fun Aunt Lara" that I am, I had the opportunity to bake cookies with the kiddos. Here, I would like to pass along the deliciousness to you and yours!

I'm such a fan of the shellac nail treatments; I love the constant shine and how long my nails look nice afterwards (usually about 3 weeks). But this last time, just after one week my the polish on my thumb and index finger majorly chipped. Big Boo! Well, in an attempt to save some cash and not get them redone so soon, I chose to give them a quick little fix.

My birthday is on Monday, and I'm one of those people who believes that a person's birthday is the one day that uniquely belongs to him or her - the one day of the year that should be ALL about you - and I milk it for all it's worth, usually celebrating the week before, the week of, and the week after the official date. Yup. It's a tradition that is now a quarter of a century old! So to go along with that theme, here are some outfits from past birthdays!
